Charm is a beautiful 16.2hh ex racehorse (but doesn't behave like one!!). She is 7 years old and was last raced when she was 5 years old though was too slow. She has excellent pedigree (her grandfather was the world famous Danzig) and is registered with Weatherbys as a proven broodmare. Charm has the most amazing temperament I have met in a horse and loves to be cuddled and pampered. She is a dream to handle from the ground and backs up with the slightest of touches. She's brillaint with other horses and loves to play around with my 6 month old filly and gets on well with all other animals too.
Her riding career is coming on leaps and bounds and she is ridden in a rope halter and she is extremely soft in a snaffle. She also goes Western or english. Charm can be ridden out alone and in company. She loves going on the moor and exploring, infact she never wants to go home once you've got going! Cantering on the moor is no problem (up hill and downhill as well) and she is very easy to stop with a bit or in a rope halter. Fine with sheep/ponies/cows roaming the moor and goes through any water whether its up to her knees or through a tiny puddle. 100% with all traffic, buses, motorbikes, push bikes, the lot! She's a little lazy in the school but once you motivate her she's a dream to ride and my novice boyfriend rides her around bareback in there. She jumps a small cross pole and with more schooling she should clear higher. She also ground ties and has excellent flexes. Currently living out 24/7 and keeps her weight well. Charm is excellent to box, stable, catch (comes on a whistle), shoe, worm, and is also good with the vet. Up to date with all vaccinations and recently had her teeth done. She is slightly cold backed in the winter but if you tack her up 5-10 minutes before you get on she is fine, to get on from the ground and from a mounting block. She has a few cracks in her hooves (she had little farrier treatment before I owned her) but they are slowly closing up and do not cause any problems to her what so ever.
Unfortunately I have to let this lovely mare go due to having too many horses and not enough time or money to do them all justice. Charm would make an excellent dressage horse as has very flashy paces and the stunning looks to match or a happy hacker/pleasure horse as she loves being out and about! A loving, experienced, 5* home wanted for this special mare! Email me at a.wreyford@hotmail.com if you want any more info
