Praise for Project Horses WebsiteMy horse was re-homed through your website in a week! I never thought I would be able to re-home him, let alone so quickly. He has gone to the most most perfect, understanding home. Your website is fantastic, it was so easy and quick to place an advert, as well as being amazing value for money. Thank you so much!! "Last Friday I bought the sweetest horse I have ever met. She was advertised on your site, she is very green and needs lots of time, reassurance and a strong one-to-one relationship but she truly is the sweetest cob, she is 100% genuine and honest. We may have only been together a week but she has made a huge mark on my life and it's thanks to your site I have been given the opportunity to be her new mum!! A huge thanks to her previous owner for entrusting her very special mare into my care!!! I am more than happy to endorse your site i think you do a fantastic job!!!!" "Would like to say many thanks!! Not only has my horse found an excellent new permanent loan home who love him to bits, it has also put me back in touch with an old friend (who now has him on loan) so many thanks, don’t know if we'd have ever found someone that actually understood him and whom he liked if it wasn’t for Project Horses!!! Thanks!" "Project Horses is an excellent website, I advertised for a wanted horse due to a recent loss I had suffered. Within 3 weeks I found a fantastic horse who has his problems, however together we are working through them and I know in time we will have a very trusting relationship. “Hi, I was fascinated to find your web site. Well done, it's great!” “I would like to say how good it is to find a website with horses to offer that have problems you are aware of before you buy. I have two horses who have their problems but i was not made aware of them when going to purchase. This website will definately be in the list of favourites”. Tracey “I've just visited 'project horses' after noticing an article about your site in a horsey mag. What a brilliant idea! It is refreshing to see people being so honest about their horses 'issues' & it's good to know that they will be given a new home with somebody who knows exactly what they're getting themselves into & are prepared to put in the hard work to work though it”. Nichola “I wanted to say thank you for running this website. I had completely run out of options ... and didn't know what to do with her. I felt useless as a horse owner and very alone. Your website put me in touch with people who had realistic ideas about owning a problem horse and were capable and willing to take her on. It also reassured me that there were other people out there with the same problems as me!” Isobel "I discovered Project Horses though a website chat room, and grabbed the chance to advertise my strong-willed horse. This website gave me the opportunity to fully describe his personality, all his positive and negative points in order to find him his perfect human partner with no surprises for them. It worked, to my delight he has now settled into the home he would always long for, and is enjoying his work with the people who understand him, and have the skills and patience to bring out the best in him." “Dear Project Horses I would just like to say a great big thank you to your site. I was given the site address through a horse chatroom and as I was looking for a new horse thought I would check it out. Having backed horses for more than 15 years and always ridden anything deemed dangerous, it looked like the ideal place to find a new challenge. Having looked through all the various horses from 15hh to 16.2hh, I saw one in particular that interested me. After several email conversations, I spoke to her owner and arranged to meet her. I was looking for a horse to do a bit of everything with a view to eventing at local competitions, so she needed to have nice paces as well as a bold big jump. The mare hadn’t been ridden for 2 years as her owner has arthritis and is having both of her hips replaced. She had decided it was a waste of a young horse but was also very aware that she would need a brave rider as she rodeos when she feels insecure and in particular when first mounted. The stables I was at wasn’t suitable for the new horse and after a little deliberation I decided that I liked the horse enough to move to a quieter yard. After all the necessary formality of a proper loan contract and references, I picked her up and bought her to her new home. It is now just over a month and I can’t believe how fabulous she is. The rodeo seems to have stopped since she realised that I wasn’t coming off and started to anticipate her bucks allowing me to get her head up and push forward before she even gets the first one in! We are not only schooling well but also hacking out (she had not seen much traffic before) and have just started popping fences. We have been to her first show and got placed 4th, albeit in hand but I rode her in the practise ring for experience. She is everything I could have hoped for and more and I can’t believe how much I love her already. So thanks project horse for bringing us together as I think we will continue to make a great team”.
